Pod People, are you in the mood for a whopping dose of feminine rage and revenge? Of course you are! In this episode, we discuss Is God Is, the film directorial debut of Aleshea Harris, based on her play by the same name. We discuss the double-edged sword that is having a twin, the masterful intersection of stage and film, over-the-top character work, the incredible performances by Kara Young, Mallori Johnson, Vivica A. Fox, and Sterling K. Brown, and the catharsis (and heartbreak) of a revenge arc.
