Pride is a time to celebrate but also a time to recognize the LGBTQIA community is under attack and needs our support. Please consider supporting the queer community however you can, not only this month, but year-round.
For our Pride film discussion, we watched Titane directed by the inimitable French director Julia Ducournau. We talk about the wide, beautiful spectrum of gender expression and identity, the very different ways in which the same character can experience the world as female-presenting or male-presenting, the body horror subgenre, weird eroticism, and the absolute force that is actor Agathe Rousselle.
